Absence of PRONOUNS Part 1

I believe that we are acquainted with this fundamental part of speech, PRONOUN. We are aware of its vital functions in communication. It smoothens the flow of conversation, enhances the understanding of the discussed context and produces the successful utterances between interlocutors. Therefore, it is undeniably certain that the absence of this so called parts of speech will erode the 'ecosystem' of understandable communications. It is not considered a peccadillo if one omits a pronoun or gets mixed up in linguistic world as it will create chaos and confusion to other listeners, construe-rs, and interlocutors.

Bismillah

Insyaallah, I have decided to choose linguistic-related topics as the leitmotif of this blog. From now on, you will be fed with my opinions on, discussions about and ramblings of linguistic matters. May Allah make this endeavor smooth. Amin.

Bismillah.

The Panics and Prayers

I have heard a plethora of amazing stories of the companions of Allah's last emissary, Muhammad pbuh pertaining to prayers or solat. One of the best anecdotes that I could reminisce is a companion who would become panicky when he was about to perform the solat.

Do we still have these kings of people in this socially blended world?

I used to regard such stories as fairy tales. I am always faithful that these stories used to take place in some spots of this world but ironically and simultaneously I guiltily admitted that they were beyond practicality, norm our imagination. But my confusing 'orthodox' world view changed when I met this lady.

She is our academic officer. While we were discussing this particular matter, the asar prayer was about to creep in inexorably. I could sense her panic as she said ' ala dah lambat, asar dah masuk'. Subhanallah, may Allah make me easy to emulate this reduplicated version of sahabat's attitude towards prayers.
Bismillah.

This is the inauguration of my journey in this virtual world. After years of ambivalence, unconfidence, and laziness, now, I'm proud to label myself as an independent blogger.

What motivates me to start blogging?

The ultimate reason is that I want to improve my writing skill. I believe in that evergreen saying, 'practice makes perfect'. I strongly believe this is the perfect-est (I know this is ungrammatical but it is semantically correct. Don't ask me why) time for me to perfect my writing as a new phase of my career journey is about to be perfected soon. So, Bismillah, may I be able to write eloquently and intellectually. Insyaallah.
